Celebrating the spooky season in Disney Dreamlight Valley brings special seasonal duties that reward players with exclusive festive items. Among these event tasks, completing A Three-Course Halloween Meal stands out as a fun challenge for players aiming to unlock all seasonal decor. Understanding how to gather the right sweets and complete this village task ensures you secure your exclusive rewards before the event ends.
Understanding the Three-Course Halloween Meal Duty
Despite what the name suggests, completing this specific task does not require cooking elaborate three-course dishes at a stove. Instead, the objective centers on gathering and consuming special event candies scattered across the Plaza during the Halloween event. Players must locate these festive treats to fulfill the requirements listed in their Dreamlight menu.
The task requires players to consume one piece of each available candy color: red, green, and purple. Eating these three distinct pieces of candy satisfies the requirement for the three-course feast. Tracking your progress in the village duties tab helps confirm when the achievement successfully registers.
Where to Find Halloween Candy Buckets
During the event period, brightly colored candy buckets spawn randomly around the main Plaza area. Opening a bucket drops pieces of candy matching the bucket's specific color scheme. Searching the Plaza regularly each day allows players to stock up on green, red, and purple variants quickly.
As the holiday approaches, bucket spawn rates increase, providing more opportunities to collect the required sweets. If you missed collecting buckets during the event window, trading with friends via multiplayer is another practical way to obtain missing candies. Keeping at least one of each color in your storage ensures you can finish the quest easily.
How to Complete the Duty and Claim Rewards
Once you have collected all three candy variants, simply open your inventory and select the option to eat one red candy, one green candy, and one purple candy. After consuming all three types, open the Dreamlight menu and navigate to the Village tab. Here you will find the completed task ready to claim.
Completing this duty awards players the exclusive Green Trick-or-Treater's Bounty decor item to place around their valley. Additional decorative candy buckets can later be purchased from Scrooge McDuck's Store once unlocked. Finishing these festive achievements is one of the best ways to customize your village for the holiday.
